Do you do emergency anxiety therapy sessions?
Yes, it is possible to have urgent anxiety therapy and Jennifer does have a number of emergency sessions available each month. They do get booked up quickly and are usually prioritised with existing clients, or children and young adults who are most in need.
I feel really anxious when speaking in public and presenting at work? Can you help?
Yes, Jennifer is a qualified keynote speaker and has trained hundreds of professionals in the art of public speaking, helping them overcome performance anxiety.

Do I need a medical diagnosis to be referred for your Anxiety Therapy?
No, you do not need a medical diagnosis to be referred for anxiety therapy and you are able to self refer yourself.
Do you work with children who are refusing to attend school at the moment, because their anxiety is so bad?
Yes, Jennifer has worked with children and schools where the child was school refusing, and in every case, the child has returned to their education. With permission, Jennifer can also work with the local schools in Brentwood to ensure the best outcome for the child.
Can I attend anxiety sessions with my child as they are too anxious to attend alone?
Yes, however Jennifer’s intention is to get your child to a place where they have confidence and belief in their own ability as soon as possible. This is often achieved quicker without the parent being present.
It is however helpful for parents to have a better understanding of anxiety, and how best you can support your child in your home environment.

My partner does not understand my anxiety and he is getting really angry and upset with me. How can I help him to understand?
Jennifer suggests your partner also has a conversation with her so she can explain how anxiety works and let your partner know that your worries are very real to you and it is initially impossible for you to just snap out of them.
She will also teach your partner, if willing, some strategies that they can help you use in an anxious moment.
